Physiatrist Nikolaos Bazios was born and raised in Ioannina. He graduated from the medical school of the University of Ioannina with a grade of "Very Good". He specialized for 6 years in Germany and gained professional experience at the academic hospital of Aachen (Aachen) in Düren in the clinics of Orthopaedics, Surgery, Neurology and Pathology as well as in the model rehabilitation clinic Dr. Becker Klinik in Nümbrecht with a capacity of 300 beds. In the rehabilitation clinic, he specialized in the rehabilitation of both neurological and orthopedic diseases.
Participated in the daily schedule of the hospital, clinical rehabilitation, emergency rooms, outpatient clinics and emergency rooms.
He received the title of specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation after exams in Germany.
He then specialized in "Manual Medicine" (01/2014-05/2016) as well as in "Medical Acupuncture and Ear Acupuncture" (03/2015-07/2018) and received the corresponding Subspecialties after examinations at the medical association of Düsseldorf (Düsseldorf), Germany.
Subsequently, he also specialized in "Chiropractic Medicine for Infants, Toddlers and Children" and in "Therapy of the Atlas (1st cervical vertebra) according to Arlen" and received the corresponding Subspecialties after examinations at the Diakovere Academy of the University of Hannover (Hannover).
From 2016 until December 2021, he worked as a medical specialist at the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine polyclinic of Dr. Refisch & Dr. Eisenberger in Krefeld, Germany.
In 2022 he returned to his place of origin and opened his own private practice of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Chiropractic Medicine for children and adults and Medical Acupuncture.
He constantly participates in domestic and international conferences focusing on Rehabilitation, Pain Management, Chronic Pain, Spinal Pain, Acupuncture and Chiropractic Medicine.
